We Craft Box

Everyday feels like a party when you do a We Craft Box!

In a technically advanced world, creative, imaginative play often falls to the wayside. Trying to keep a child entertained can sometimes be a struggle when all they want to do is jump on their tablet, which is why I was excited to receive the We Craft box to review. Subscription boxes can be a lifesaver when it comes to planning out activities, and when you get the right one; chef’s kiss.

Designed with a specific theme in mind, each box takes your child through a story that leaves them excited to do the next craft, with a couple of hours of excitement and fun for them and a nice little break for mom! But with everything this box is packed, it’s hard for a parent to resist joining in. The best part is all the materials are included, and all you have to do is hand your child some scissors and watch them go to work.

Per their website, each box comes with the following:

 

•  4-5 coordinated crafts
•  Themed story
•  Quality art materials
•  All crafts come with photo directions and craft tutorial videos
•  All materials are included and one box can be shared between two crafters. Roughly geared for ages 3-9 (younger kids will need assistance).
  

Even though this is a subscription service, you also get the option to purchase individual boxes from their single box shop before committing to one of their plan options. 

For us, this box came through in the clutch on a rainy day. After school work was done and my kids were geared with the words every parent dreads, “I’m bored, what are we going to do?”

Immediately pulling it out, my kids were instantly engaged in “Hippo’s Ice Cream Party,” where they were engulfed in so much to do that by the time they finished, it was dinnertime. 

First, they made adorable masks, then bracelets, giant ice creams and, last but not least, clay cakes. It was so cute listening to them sing “Happy Birthday” to each other that I wish we had saved it for my daughter’s upcoming birthday. I would definitely recommend this to any child between the ages of 3-10.
