Simple Skin

Now I don’t mean to brag, but I have had pretty nice skin. And with nice skin comes great responsibility… or something like that.

And then I got pregnant. And y’all my skin is, well, unfortunate. I’m talking dry patches, scales, bumps, and acne that make me feel like I just started puberty. If I weren’t pregnant, I would modify my diet real quick, bump up some serums, and moisturize like my life depended on it, but not everything is pregnancy safe.
Something that Hallmark refers to as a beautiful time is straight up messing with my skin. Grateful to be pregnant. Not so much to have a face riddled with multiple skin issues. I really thought all was lost until I took a trip to Sephora, desperate, and disdainfully ready to spend some big coins on products to temporarily help all that was going on. I know I’m being dramatic, but ya girl appreciates her skincare self-care. Mmmmmkay!
Anyways, after expecting to spend a small fortune, I met the best human ever at Sephora, who not only spent a lengthy time with me, but found me the best face balm and moisturizer for $15 dollars all together. Now, granted these were the smaller sizes, but the Oat Cleansing Balm and the Symbright Moisturizer from The Inkey List are literally the best products I have ever used for pregnancy hormonal acne. After two weeks of use, my skin is thriving, she is glowing, and she is shining!
I love it!
